MATCH RECAP: South County FC Reserves First Off, Sorry for the field time confusion, and what a show of class by Real. Short staffed and outplayed for the first 41 minutes, they got thier subs , two quick goals and really, owned the run of play for the second half. South county again without a golie and subs were also tested in guts and stamina, with some early injuries and player card confusion the reserves have yet to field a real goalie for longer than 20 minutes, and also have not had more than one sub. While this being the way it goes, look out for the S.C.F.C. Reserves as they will have thier regular keeper and four injured players (3 starters) back for the game against Racing FC. All and all thanks Real for a great match, you guys did a great job, we look forward to playing you again. Thanks Also to Kevin Cory for transfering down to play a game.

MATCH RECAP: Real FC The match this week had quite a lot of confusion due to scheduling changes, but it eventually took place. Turns out we had to be off the field by 12pm so we began the match with exactly 11 players at 10am. Ryan Warlick took up the keeper position on his first game back from Calf surgery. The rust eventually wore off and he was able to contain a clean sheet in the second half.
First half was a different story however as we looked like we were half asleep for the first 35 minutes. A long shot skipped unpredictably to Ryans right on the turf field for SC's first goal and that was followed up by a well placed free kick into the side netting. Two substitutes eventually arrived to lesson the pressure a bit, but the damage was done and a big comeback was needed.
Real reacted well and within the last 4 minutes of the half netted twice. First coming on a long through ball from the right back position when Sean Serrano sent it to Travis Hummell who finished the fast break. The seond ball came off a great long ball that was flicked by Rob Dorrough onto a streaking run by Brandon Russell and slotted into the side netting.
The second half looked a lot more controlled by Real and eventually the game winner came when a through ball was sent to Travis Hummell from Jeff Bahash and Travis slotted home at the near post. Many more chances were blown by real through the rest of the half including a wide open shot by birthday boy Sam Deatherage (it was the hangovers fault huh....), but the damage was already done. Real came back from 2-0 to salvage a 3-2 away win. Well done guys.
