The L.A. Strikers had another good turn out with 6 subs and a strong line-up.  The Strikers dominated play in the first half and before half-time Brad Stear made an excellent run down the left wing and after beating a few players, crossed the ball to Brian Bertotti who fired it home into the back of the net for the game's first goal.

The Strikers again enjoyed more ball possession in the second half, but Alliance perservered with a goal on a counter-attack to tie the score.  Several shots by Striker's players including one of the post by Ken Takaki, could not find the net and the game ended in a tie 1-1.
